Welcome to Giving Yoga!

*What does "Namaste" mean?  If you attend any yoga class, you will usually hear this at the end of class.  Go to the link at left to find out what it means and why the word beautifully summarizes the spiritual, sharing, and respectful environment of a yoga class!

Our Mission:  Sharing the Gift of Yoga with Our Community and Beyond.

Giving Yoga brings group yoga classes to your organization or community for donation-only fees. The mission of Giving Yoga is to share the gift of yoga through community-based classes and the donation of proceeds to international charitable organizations.  We have raised more than $10,000 for a variety of health and education projects over the past two years.

Third Quarter 2008 Donations:  Giving Yoga is currently devoting 100% of contributions toward international health and education projects through the GlobalGiving Foundation:  www.globalgiving.com.  We accept donations in cash or check as you drop into Giving Yoga classes.  (Please make any checks payable directly to the GlobalGiving Foundation.)
